Northern Ireland Housing Executive

NIHENorthern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE), czyli Biuro ds. komunalnych zasobów mieszkaniowych Irlandii Północnej, pełni następujące funkcje:

  • jest regionalnym organem gospodarki mieszkaniowej na terytorium Irlandii Północnej, odpowiedzialnym za poprawę warunków mieszkaniowych w administrowanych przez siebie lokalach
  • jest lokalnym organem do spraw oszczędnej gospodarki energią na terytorium Irlandii Północnej, który podejmuje działania na rzecz poprawy energooszczędności w lokalach mieszkalnych
  • jest jednym z największych zarządców lokali socjalnych, administrującym zasobami liczącymi ponad 90.000 mieszkań

Biuro realizuje swoje cele statutowe poprzez prowadzenie zakrojonych na szeroką skalę projektów modernizacyjnych we własnych zasobach lokalowych oraz poprzez udzielanie dotacji uprawnionym właścicielom domów w charakterze pomocy przy finansowaniu modernizacji lokali.
